From Our Clients
Our StoryRC Carpentry’s roots were planted in the 1920s
Norm Christiansen founded Ace Roofing in the early 1920s, serving local families and businesses throughout the Antioch community. Eventually being taken over by his son Jack Christiansen, numerous projects were completed that set the stage for future generations. Of those include his partnership with the Lions Club and volunteering to contribute to the construction of the Antioch Little League Baseball Field — projects that continue to serve generations long after the final nail was driven.
Those early opportunities to give back shaped the foundation of our company. We believe every construction project, no matter the size, represents a piece of someone’s dream. Being trusted to bring that dream to life is a responsibility we take seriously.
In true fashion, Grandpa Jack built more than a business — he built a crew. Five sons — John, Jim, Tom, Mike, and Rob — grew up learning firsthand what hard work meant. Between school days, they worked roofing jobs, manning hot tar kettles and helping work on projects like the historic Antioch Schoolhouse roofing job, now the Lakes Region Historical Society Museum in downtown Antioch.
Rob, the youngest and like those before him, chose to make construction his lifelong craft. He developed deep expertise in carpentry and multiple trades, serving the same community his father and grandfather had with an unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Growing up on job sites, Rob Jr. followed suit. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering & Management from Marquette University and gaining experience in commercial construction, he returned home with a renewed appreciation for the family trade.
Today, RC Carpentry blends generational craftsmanship with modern project management. We combine hands-on trade expertise with structured scheduling, clear communication, and disciplined execution — delivering decks, kitchens, and finish carpentry projects with both precision and professionalism.
